I stopped by the store and the staff were friendly enough, but it definitely took a while before someone was able to help me. What made it more annoying was that I kept getting different answers depending on who I asked, especially about whether certain items were in stock. A few things I came in for weren’t available, so that was disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible visit, just kind of average and a bit frustrating

I ordered a backpack along with a few smaller things, and the shipping was just kind of meh. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would. The tracking also stopped updating for a couple days, which was frustrating because I had no idea if the package was actually moving or just sitting somewhere.

Everything did show up in good condition in the end, so I’ll give them that. I just wish the shipping process was clearer and faster. It also feels like they lean on those little policy loopholes where the delivery window is technically broad enough that they can say it’s “on time,” even when it feels late to the customer. Not terrible overall, but not great either.

The exchange did go through in the end, so that part was fine, but the return shipping process was more annoying than I expected?! It just felt like it dragged on longer than it should have.

I did find some nice outdoor gear here, but the prices felt kinda steep to me :/ I noticed a few of the same items for less on other sites, which was a little disappointing. Not a bad experience overall, just didn’t feel like the best value for what I was looking for!

The support team was friendly and actually helped me solve my issue, but the replies took longer than I expected. For what I’m paying, I was hoping for a quicker response, but overall they did get the job done...

I got exactly what I ordered with zero mix-ups, which almost feels a little too perfect. Like, who’s running the operation back there, and how did they know to get every detail right? Either way, I’m not complaining, everything showed up just like it was supposed to.

I ordered a hiking jacket and a pair of trail socks from Backpacker Outdoors, and yeah, happy with both. The jacket feels solid, the zippers don’t snag, and the fabric isn’t that loud cheap crinkly kind, which I was kind of worried about...
Took it out on a wet weekend trip and it held up better than I thought it would. Stayed comfortable, didn’t feel flimsy, and the socks were actually great too. No weird seams rubbing or anything like that, which is always the thing that can ruin a hike fast.
Price felt fair for what I got. Nothing over the top, just good gear that did what it was supposed to do. I’d definitely order from them again if I need more outdoor stuff..

I was already expecting Backpacker Outdoors to have a good mix of outdoor gear, the site kind of confirmed that for me. They had plenty of hiking and camping stuff to look through, plus a few brands I don’t always run into on other sites. I didn’t have to dig around much to compare options either, which was nice. If you already like shopping for outdoor gear, this place feels like a dependable choice.

I had a smooth time using backpackeroutdoors.com. I’m the type who usually makes quick snap judgments on a site, and this one passed right away because it was easy to figure out. I found what I needed fast, the pages loaded fine on my phone, and checkout didn’t have any odd extra steps. it just worked without making me think too much, which is exactly what I like...

I got the feeling the staff actually knew what they were talking about, not just trying to sell me something. They listened to what I needed and helped me choose the right gear without making it complicated.
